Poll Time - WFH survey

So how many days a week are y’all choosing to be in the office on this new survey we were sent? I was debating between 1 and 2 but ultimately ended up choosing just 1.

Mo--ns in my department boast being unvaccinated even when they have family members sick or dead from it. Selfish.

So does this mean no more going out? No kids going to school? No sporting events? Staying at home..deliver service? I highly doubt it

@MAKE APACHE GREAT AGAIN! That ship sailed long ago. We will never be great again, we will always be a second or third-tier independent E&P company. It's disgusting to witness the fall that has taken place in the last 10 years. The beginning of the end was the creation of the Permian Region, then the tenure of JC, SR and their overpaid, bloviated lap dogs. The final nail was project descend! All you WFH bashers can go to tractor supply and buy meds and wave your rally flags when you get sick

Everyone that is crying about wanting to work from home I have a great idea for you. Start your own company and sit at home and see how much money you make! I am embarrassed for all you ungrateful SPOILED people. You all have great jobs and you hide behind this forum and bash the company that gives you a paycheck benefits and bonuses. I wish all you SPOILED A$$e$ would take your ball and just go home!

The pandemic has also shown a lot of employers and employees that big changes to the way we work are possible — whether that’s working from home or taking time off in the middle of the day to care for a child. Even if some of those changes aren’t necessarily ideal, the point is that a job doesn’t need to be a rigid, all-consuming grind that crowds out everything else in life.

IT is letting some people PERMANENTLY work from home. Unfair!

They keep there doors shut and meet on Teams so you "hopefully" dont get Covid since we should be scaling back and have a mask mandate.

I work better in the office personally but I wish you both had the option to stay home! It’s silly to have forced us back in Houston when everyone keeps their doors shut and meets on Teams anyway lol.

Is someone on this thread saying that:

  1. That work from home during the currently heightened pandemic is temporary OR that
  1. The hybrid work model is temporary

I am asking as those are two very different things

First not everyone can work remotely to be safe during this heightened pandemic and are therefore in the office where masking is virtually nonexistent; so if you are able to work from home try to be grateful on this board for those that cannot.

Secondly the hybrid work model was/is being billed as permanent (although come on nothing here is permanent) so if you’re hearing otherwise do share.

Thirdly also remember that not everyone got the privilege to be hybrid either.

In a better covid landscape a 3 day in office / 2 day home work week is a pretty sweet deal.

Hopefully it doesn’t get effed up.

Same here, you literally said what I was about to say pretty much word for word! The funny thing is I cannot stand to be at the office a minute more than I have to be, but if I am working from home I don’t mind checking emails at 8pm and answering a few of them or starting work at 630 in the morning. Why?!? Probably because I’m in an environment that I want to be in and don’t have to worry about driving for an hour and a half! You would think leadership would understand this but apparently they refuse to believe it or see it.

My commute is horrendous. We're in the middle of a pandemic. We need to save money to pay off debt. The office culture and moral is super low and non-existant. I get more done and work more from home. I get to see my family more. How hard can this possibly be to figure out?

WE WANT TO WORK FROM HOME.

Your answers to the survey will be used for a forced ranking and the next layoff.

They survey us for the future. They don't like us being at home. They're mad they can't be. It's just a benefit They can extend us we would like to keep!!!
