I wish there was more communication about Covid cases at work. Most of the people are still going to the office. So we, the more concerned ones look bad. I know more people inside and outside work that have had Covid lately. Way more cases than last year.

Many offices are closed or scaling back and have mask mandates. We need to as well. period.
Weird because I felt they played it safe and handled things well last year. I’m not especially worried about myself, but do feel the need to protect my elder family and children best I can.
It does feel so much worse this year. Just in general.
I know for a fact one of my coworkers has tested positive but won't tell her boss because she thinks she's on thin ice already. This here is messed up.
Ha! JC, MM, JJ, and BJ don’t give a damn about how many employees have covid or even telling us! They have to justify the office space to the investors so everybody is damned whether there is covid in the office or not and has to be there. I’ll admit it does suck because Some of neighbors offices have shut down again and some of the better companies out there have delayed brining employees back but not Apache! Our premier company which claims employees are their greatest asset is showing that they don’t give a damn about their employees!
Now they hired another consulting company, spending millions of dollars to evaluate what is best for the employees and sent another BS surgery which they will again manipulate to get what they want instead of what employees want… but yet employees are Thor best asset. Psh! Good luck not getting covid at the office!
The internal transparency with COVID has been swept under the rug. A couple of weeks ago I knew at least five Apaches in quarantine at the same time. This is a perfect opportunity to do the right thing AND save the company money by shutting down the offices.
