That's the representatives getting ready to go up and get shafted. To be handed the "updated" proposal, management have a pre ordained script they are working to, nothing that's said or proposed will make a jot of difference, simply going through the motions, deluded to think otherwise. A wee bit of self importance for a few, getting reeled in and strung along,one big charade.

What do you do if offered a job but waiting on redundancy because you have been there 20years.. leave with nothing ? Or if your lucky get the statutory package If the powers above decide it ?? Are we going to be waiting for the tap on the shoulder a week a month 3 months??? Company want you to leave with nothing.. what about our mental health ?? Waiting waiting … cant find a job loss out on 20years service if you do !! Company employs over 50 thousand surely a decent redundancy and proper time frame in place is justified ,, when you have worked half your life for them on shifts which is detrimental to your health.. gross base ..how about equalised ?? Years off my life working shifts, and the excuse you got paid a premium for shift work ridiculous.. company's spending billions and we have beg for a decent severance.. because we aint so profitable now ..

Ogos std/tot if it all goes red or white and theres still work to do then maybe we will be gone sooner than later (October please) but possibly Rs and the likes might realise the sooner the better we get a fair redundancy package agreed we can all just get on with it, sure some were lazy some were useless.. but not all of us was!! And most of them that was are long gone ,,some if us put years into to a company under the threat of redundancy (For years its been a couple here and there) none or next to nothing for a payrise for years aswell … and its not like we was the highest paid in the industry.far from it some lads can make more stacking shelves,, BH is now renowned for being one of the worst employers in oil and gas.. wont matter soon hopefully be one of the first to go as im sick of it. Once was a great company to work for Whats changed ?? Management has changed the guys who won work and ensured it kept coming has changed.. the direction the head honchos want the company to go has changed.

Agree, playing for time until its legal to chop chop, taps on shoulders anytime after 1st October. They will say and do anything to string you along, being taken for a ride.

Who’s on the team, I know it’s going through the motions, someone willing to speak up for everyone even those on long term sickness is needed, HR will try and dismiss you ( like they do ) if you keep at them you will get answers, what you don’t need is someone out for themselves
