AUSA Non-Exempt Go Forward Title & Grade

Altice USA follows a salary grading structure for non-exempt (hourly) employees. As part of the reintegration of ATS back into AUSA, HR partnered with business leaders to review all non-exempt positions within ATS and assign those positions a go-forward salary grade. In addition, the business harmonized job titles where needed to ensure consistency in titling across like roles and the external job market.

Each salary grade assigned to a non-exempt position has an associated salary range. Grade assignment is based upon the job responsibilities of the role (not the individual). There will be no change to your salary based on your go forward salary grade. Given the level of complexity and potential for confusion, salary ranges are not posted.

The below chart summarizes your go-forward business title and grade level effective August 21, 2021.

The firefighters who are Union in Honolulu/Hawaii(up too and including a battalion chief),lost their jobs for no jab. They save peoples LIVES and worldly possessions, putting themselves in harms way and most likely certain death on a daily basis if not several times a day.You think we have a leg to stand up on against that?Where do you start and when does it end?Im curious what any of you thinks good, bad or indifferent.Im not anti union,im not pro union.Im a guy trying to feed my family and pay my bills.Im sure the firefighters NEVER thought theyd have to sue their own Unions and their municipalities for the sake of their own employment and livelihoods. How is the Ibew/Cwa etc responding?Im sure we all have alot of questions and not alot of answers at this point.

I'm still confused why you still think Union tech's are safe. You can't hide your a lousy tech under that umbrella forever. The only ones safe are the ones you did not vote in and raised their hands in a meeting.

they will never admit the fact that BBT structure was created only to stunt career progression while simultaneously minimizing salaries. no complexity in that.

unfortunately for them, they're still a significant amount of technicians making upwards of $40/hr and that's a big no no for dexter and the shareholders

they will continue to eliminate as many tenured techs (in non-union shops) as they can and continue to increase contractor based labor.

stay safe & god bless

Complexity and Confusion? Find the highest paid guy and the lowest paid guy. Average it out and take it within a standard deviation lower or higher and you’ve got your range. If I’m too low you bring me up. If I’m too high you leave me where I am. That’s neither complex nor likely to confuse people who routinely do math for living. Why don’t you just tell me you don’t want to put that on paper since half the techs are getting paid less than they should be.

Yo that's crazy! Jobs are out there and you could definitely do better for yourself. It's crazy how all of you have given up on yourselves. I've never been happier at the new place I'm at. I know plenty of guys that have landed on their feet and wish they made the change years ago. I certainly wish I had left years ago as well. But i'm telling you that it's never too late to leave this job that is destroying you physically and mentally every single day.
