To start a staffing franchise and the more I see the company slipping the more confident I feel I made the right decision. I was a 3rd generation Boeing employee and remember when it was a great company, sad that its being ran into the ground. If anyone is looking for a job, I can help out.

I think you made a smart move.
The sad reality is the more years you work at Boeing the more likely you are to get laid off. The longer you wait to change careers the harder it becomes. Boeing rarely calls back employees over age 40 after they lay them off.
So staying ahead of the curve was the smart move on your part.

I am just riding my time out here, just like the execs. I could careless what happens to the MAX, the 787, 777X, KC46, Starliner etc...I am not paid enough to worry about that....
