Thread regarding ADP layoffs

Does ADP honor 2 week notice or they walk you out right away?

Thinking of switching and leaving but was wondering if they still honor two weeks. I have seen many just shown the door. Any thoughts?

Depends on your job and what type of access you have.

If they walk you out.. pretty sure they pay you the two weeks.

I gave my notice that I was retiring a month in advance but was taking the last 5 days as my floating holidays. No repercussions at all. They have an exit briefing survey but you can just say you prefer not to answer.

If you leave to a competitor, you would be walked out immediately. If it is not a competitor, rather a completely different job/industry, they allow you to stay 2 weeks.

From my experience, it is unpredictable what would happen. Some would be shown the door immediately. Others would stay for the entire notice period.

I am not sure that if you are walked out immediately upon submitting your resignation if ADP would pay you for those two weeks. In most companies they would pay you.

Be careful not to get fired when you try to leave. Word it in your resignation letter that you are quitting, effective immediately, but can stay for up to two weeks as a courtesy. Some companies may fire you during your two week notice period out of spite and tell you to get out immediately. Then your ADP record would show that you were fired.

Be prepared to be walked out the door immediately upon submitting your resignation, so have all of your personal stuff out of the office. Then if you have to leave you already have your stuff either at home or in your car, so you just walk out with a smile on your face.
