With more data coming out, countries and states with the highest rates of vaccination now have the highest rates of Covid. Meanwhile with mass distribution of certain cheap and effective medicines some countries have all about eradicated covid. OXY should be testing BOTH vaccinated and unvaccinated and track where are all the covid cases coming from - who, vaxxed or unvaxxed? Need better science before doing such one for all.

Comirnaty has the same formulation as the EUA vaccine, i.e., Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine. The only thing that changed is the name under which it will be marketed. -FDA website

Comirnaty was approved, but Comirnaty has yet to be produced. Everything out there now represents the EUA product. There is no timetable for when Comirnaty will be available. Classic bait & switch and the careful parsing of language and legalese.

Well one has been approved now, so I would expect an email soon that we all will be required to be vaccinated. I know of a few people unvaccinated that got Covid, and if for no other reason than reducing their symptoms they wished that had of got the vaccine. I know others where their companies require vaccination or not have a job. There are outs for health reasons and religious reasons.

Funny how one of the largest groups of “unvaxxed imbeciles” in this country are people who have PhD’s. Weird.

The unvaxxed imbeciles are the ones filling up hospital beds and clogging the ERs. More will continue to die because of their foolish actions. They will take horse dewormer or drink bleach to own the doctors, scientists, and medical professionals who must be wrong!

If you haven’t seen her testimony from last week, you should. Even the CDC said this week that data from their International partners (Israel) show vaccinated people are at an increased risk for severe infection over time.

The Pfizer vaccine will get FDA approval this week according to the chatter on the internet. Will you get this vaccine after FDA approval? If not then what is the reason for not getting it?

OP, is the Earth flat? For supposedly working for a company that is driven by science, how do you get by with zero scientific understanding?

To the last poster. Science involves constantly reevaluating existing and new data that comes in. That is why you see new reports coming out all of the time. Some of the reports will change the scientists current view. It is our responsibility to understand the studies and then make our decisions accordingly and not just say “ I am so confused so I just won’t do anything”

I think more people will get vaccinated once the FDA approves one of them. Just in the last few days they came out and said it looks like the Moderna vaccine might be linked to some risky side effects for children. I had a friend that was scheduled for the Moderna vaccine yesterday and he cancelled after the study came out. For him luckily he was able to get the Pfizer at another location. So that is a good example of how all these reports can drive the decisions of people. As long as they keep coming out with these reports people have every right to not take any of the vaccines. I am hoping next week the FDA approves the Pfizer and we will see an uptick in people getting vaccinated. If I had kids 12-18 I would still think twice before getting them vaccinated as long as these reports keep coming out. We need to protect our children and part of that is not giving them vaccines that are not FDA approved. As an adult we can all make up out own mind. Oxy is doing a great job with their decisions and keeping us all employed and the company on the right track. They just can't tell everyone to go home and are managing the situation as best they can.

It is true that vaccinated people can spread the virus and get covid but they do not end up in the hospital like the unvaccinated. If everyone who could be vaccinated was vaccinated then there would be no problem with those over the age of 12 as long as people wore masks as an additional precaution. As for those younger than 12 that is still a problem but less of a problem if they also wear masks. Why can’t educated people see this?
