Words of wisdom!
Do not tell anybody you might be sick. If you think you may be, especially the stupid virus, dont say cr-p. Get your test, keep quiet until you get a confirmed positive. This company will make you take off, make you use all your vacation time. Make you quarantine for 10 days regardless. If you tell them you ate something that made you sick, they will make you quarantine for ten days without pay. If you gag on your tooth brush, they will make you quarantine for 10 days without pay.

This is such garbage. Nearly all facilities temperature test. Sanitizer is available. And contact tracing and notification of at risk individuals happens. Vaccination is promoted and rewarded. Masks are mandated or encouraged. Most meetings are still remote when possible.
Everyone at our plant is falling out. Getting scary.
NOV also doesnt tell you if you have been exposed to someone that test positive. They just keep quiet so they dont have to pay you. Then if you test positive you are forced to use your vacation because you cant prove you got it at work! I have been working with or near someone that tested positive on atleast 5 occasions and nobody said a word.
Maybe NOV needs to do like a shop i visited last week in Houston. This place had setup a temperature and hand sanitizer station. As you are getting the alcohol gel the machine takes your temperature. If temp is good you get a green light, if you have a temp you get a red light with an alarm that alerts personnel. This prevented the guys behind me from being allowed to enter the building. Not the best method but it does help.
Soooo, once you confirm your sick, you gonna tell HR then? What about all the co-workers? If you don't say a word and someone die aren't you gonna feel guilty? You should be held responsible, yes?
or they may do something really bad to you so you can be another C0VID casualty they can advertise on a headline somewhere.
