Brazil Update

What is going on in Brazil? We paid a huge premium for our acreage. Did exploration make a mistake or are we about to hit a big payday?

Our first Brazil play is OBO with equinor. You can find out about it here:

Given that Guyana was sheer luck.... we were going to drill one well and leave if it was dry, drilled the second prospect due to technical issues on the first, that one hit oil, the original number one was drilled second and was a duster....
Given that the first go round in Brazil was a fiasco....
Given that our pre Guyana, our Exploration group struggled to find 30% reserve replacement annually, which forced EM into a slew of poor decisions trying to keep annual RR >100%
We should just buy the countries of Surnam and Guyana and pray....

OP, you’re not an employee and not a troll, but rather a scout or a journalist. You should work harder than that.

In exploration no news is bad news.

While EM can be over protective about information that’s not really “sensitive”, this is actually sensitive.
