That is, what interests me is do you think Emerson would be a much better company just to cut the number of managers? Some say that it would be because there would be huge savings, and some think that it would not, because the problems of this company outweigh the number of managers. I think it would be good to reduce their number, but I know it won't happen, at least not for long.

One day, an outside investor will realize that 40% of payroll is wasted. Then Emerson will look like Anheuser Busch.
