These people are completely discriminated at Qualcomm, while in fact they are people from whom everyone could have a lot to learn from. My colleague who was an excellent employee resigned because he could no longer bear the pressure he had just because of his age. What’s next, to move the limit to 40 years and those who have more than that are not welcome?

Saying Google bought Android is like saying Facebook copied MySpace. This is obviously only something a Qualcomm engineer would say. You should now bow down and take god for the real hero’s of Qualcomm - the lawyers! If it wasn’t for the law team you wouldn’t even have a job today!
At least Qualcomm is one of very few tech companies where you will see people over 50 😉And to be fair, what profit making division has Google created other than search? Android, waymo, YouTube etc were bought... Cloud is commonplace and not ground breaking.

What pressure? Old employees have been at the company forever and have failed to create a new product. New blood has to come in or the company will die! There are way too many old people at Qualcomm that does not allow the younger generation to innovate and keep the company alive. Qualcomm needs to get rid of more old people!
