Message was sent on 08/16 with deadline of 08/27 requesting that ALL employees. "Data is being shared to met local or state regulations or client or customer requirements" Email also states that employees who do not comply with providing mandatory vaccine status form will be subject to discipline up to and including termination of employment.

I have successfully recovered from COVID in January 2021. My physician has recommended no vaccine as I now have natural immunity. An August quantitative COVID antibody test shows my antibodies still sky high. My physician recommends a t-cell immunity test next, which shows durable immunity. I know this scenario must describe many employees. I am not refusing, I simply don't need it. Has anyone heard if they are ignoring the simple medical facts of natural immunity?

I am not clinical but a p&p is out there that has been updated within the last week. Cat 1 and 2 employees are required to be vaccinated. This may be coming out soon.
Cat 1 - Clinical offices / Patient facing roles
Cat 2 - You go to members residences / NF etc.
Cat 3 - You work in a United office but not member facing.
Cat 4 - WFH telecommuters
Boosters not yet required. New hires need it prior to start date for Cat 1,2. We will see how far UHG takes this.
It will be mandated in some form. UHG is a total follower and needs government favors from both Dems and Republicans. They will jump on any fad that is society that puts them in a good light. This question is will it be all employees or only clinical roles and in office employees. But yes it is coming. The other thing is will they leave it alone or are they going to require you get boosters every year.
We can read. Currently this is a mandate to disclose vaccination status and as we have seen with other companies, the mandatory disclosure is a predecessor to mandatory vaccination.
There is already an updated vaccine policy on the Hub . It is dated 8/16. It seems they have not announced it yet, but a simple search on the Hub brings it right up. They ARE mandating the vaccine for certain employees in clinical / patient facing roles. There is an outline of who will be required and of the exemption process . I’m not sure how many will be approved. I got suspicious after the email asking for vaccine status and found the policy quickly. I’m sure they will formally announce it soon.
This seems like a breach of personal health information to me. Something UHG takes very seriously. Like disclosing if you have HIV or something to your employer. This seems like something you could sue for.
People need to read. They are not mandating you get vaccinated. They just want to know your status vaccinated or not
Yes. Just because someone isn't vaxxed doesn't make them any less capable of doing their job. Also, there are tons of WAH positions that don't have any outside interaction with anyone. They shouldn't be forced to get vaxxed.

Still pi---d after getting the email this am. 11+ years with the company and will leave in a heartbeat if they mandate getting injected with experimental chemicals. I will not agree to be poisoned to keep a job.
