Salary equals how corporations like CVS take advantage of people like store managers. I'm willing to bet if CVS made all store managers hourly, and made them clock in and out like everyone else, then they'd actually see how much a SM works. They'd be floored at how much OT a SM is pulling, and then suddenly hours and staffing would finally be addressed. Because it would be cheaper to hire 2-3 new shift supervisors than to pay a SM 30+ hours of OT.
