How satisfied are you with the severance pay?
I am quite unprepared in case they tell me that I am no longer needed, so severance pay is my last hope and that I will be able to find a new job quickly.
I hope there haven't been any changes to severance policy.
BNSF tends to give PIP's (Performance Improvement Plans) to those they are going to layoff so they don't have pay severance.
