You’re just a number

I’m not sure how Pioneer’s culture could ever recover from what they have done over the last 3 years.. The answer is, it won’t. That has been greatly magnified over the last month especially. The amazing culture that used to exist is gone forever and it’s sad because that was one of the best things about working here. Used to feel somewhat valued as an employee and now I know I’m just a number. I think a lot of people said this in their surveys that MC won’t take feedback on.

They will say, “here’s a dollar, I found you a dollar” But, why aren’t you happy now?

Anyone else excited to hear the survey results tomorrow? PXD is a GREAT place to work! The few people badmouthing mgmt need to leave and let the rest of us take care of business!

Part of the problem is micromanaging, underqualified managers. Period.

It’s obvious that if you can’t help ESG scores for PXD then you don’t matter. You’re replaceable and no one cares despite all the BS rhetoric about employees being the best asset

Geology managers ruining that side of the company. Poll their subordinates on their issues and performance. It'll be very obvious who should have been let go in the last layoff and who should be top on the list for the next layoffs.
