I was wondering if anyone had any inside scoop on the new company direction. It involves evolving our company to a style platform destination / brand.

It's a good thing that Kmart closed since so those customers can shop our store now that we only have our private brands. Who cares, stock price is up and our floor looks like we're going out of business heading into the holidays. So many people complaining about how empty our store is, but even now we can't keep up with go backs since we only have one or two people working on every floor nowadays.
Too bad, no more Nike to steal...

This October Nike will no longer send merchandise ( active wear ) to Macy's. Only if there's a finish line in your store, only tennis shoes will be sent to your store. Adidas and Under Armour will follow Nike path too but until next year. Eventually all the name brands will leave Macy's soon.
Yep by oct most nice brands this dump has had is gone. thats why they keep adding cr-p you never heard of to fill the gap
Style? All the major brands are pulling out of this dump. Who is going to go to Macy's for style when we don't even have Polo anymore!
