The only place a Utu Yard master will be is an a yard with a hump yard. They have told St Louis Yard masters TO either exercise their seniority, or become some sort of low level Mgr. With no union ties. If they do they lose their seniority to come back. Also by Union Pacific in essence busting their union ties, they can do what they want with them. The first step which will lead to consolidateing mgm yard centers which won’t be in STL. LEADING TO LESS FOLKS BEING NEEDED. Either way they choose they lose UPRR WINS. SIMILIAR TO. GLOBAL 4 flip board Yard Mgms. Local Mgm will lie and tell them their jobs will stay to protect their current jobs. It’s a bad situation. Project 2-5 yrs no local mgm yard mgrs they will be consolidated somewhere.
