Most of the managers at my store in a Westside suburb of cleveland don't even work Sundays which is our busiest day. It's not just the current managers either. I guess Sunday is a holy day for them....
They have this clouded vision that all stocking will be done on 3rd shift and minimal if any employees work on 1st shift. How r we supposed to give so called great customer service when ur stuck overnight when there aren’t ne customers in the store????
Place is such a joke lately - no help anywhere - asked to do more with less - basically slavery with the masta’s at the home office and us slaves living in poverty out in the stores
F this place and daddy’s lil girl runnin it into the depths of firey h_ _ _ if it wasn’t already!
Basically it means more work and less help. Also a reduction in quarterly bonuses and yearly raises for all salary employees will be no more then .15 cents an hour. Salary employees work day will be extended to 10hrs a day and it has not yet been confirmed but salary employees will need to work 6 days a week but only paid for 40hrs
Define “staffing changes” Mandatory layoffs? Or rearranging workflow to be done during shifts that most of current staff either cannot or will not be able to work? Thus decreasing staffing due to many leaving.
Is “Project Disney” specific to any certain region or banner?
I hope everyone likes working the graveyard shift.
Isn’t every Giant Eagle project Fantasyland?
Can’t devolve any further information just yet because it could potentially point the finger back to me, or at least a select group of people they can choose from to interrogate. But trust me when I say, it’s in the works and nearing completion followed by a good old fashioned roll out.
Let me guess… It has something to do with “Fantasyland”..
