Did anyone catch the number of new customer wins? Have they reported that in past quarters? SM babbled on forever and threw out a bunch of buzz words but he danced around this important metric.

If they purposely mislead investors like this they better have a sharp legal team to keep them out of Jail. I know they are desperate to get the stock price up but willfully confusing investors is illegal.
This thread just states the obvious. Why would any new customer start with a legacy technology like Teradata? All new development is on cloud-native. Not on a brittle, non-elastic database bolted onto a cloud platform.
New account wins are confidential as there aren't any. If the story gets out that public cloud growth comes 100% from migrated onprem workloads of existing customers the stock price goes back to $18.

KK? Hahahahahaha. All hat and no cattle. Knows the proper butts to kiss for the big paycheck.
Has anyone approached KK? She's the one who'd know were we're at regarding customers. If she's quiet, well then.
Why are new customer wins confidential? TDC used to report that. The number is so low it’s probably embarrassing. I guess that’s a good reason to make it confidential.
@cesz+1ccTFbaL they may know mate, but this is still a public website and much as I like to vent my frustrations here and I've done that in the past, I wouldn't expose confidential information, as some around here may come from anywhere including competition. Cheers.
So nobody at Teradata knows how many new customers you’ve won this year???
Recharged image? Short span of time? Seriously? Teradata has been attempting a pivot to cloud for the past decade. Still less than $100M in cloud revenue. After 42 years less than $2B revenue. Been shrinking for last 6 years. The numbers don’t lie and are hard to spin.
No new logos. It’s impossible. All re-platforms. Once those are done it’s going back to cost cutting.
Thanks for your post, Marketing!

Guessing SM just 'renamed' current customers and called them new, just like TD renamed Database and called it Vantage. lol
