The company lied to its furloughed employees about how much revenue it was down throughout the Pandemic year. Furloughed and laid off employees were led to believe the company was down as much as 40% to 50%, year over year.
This was their lie and their story to over 1500 furloughed employees.
Turns out after an initial dip in March-June 2020, the company was never in danger of losing more than 5-10% of revenue, year over year.
When WB Mason realized it could operate with half the workforce, they made the decision not to re-hire most of the furloughed employees.
It's disgusting, but not surprising. Hope everyone found a better work environment. I'm thrilled I left the company.
