Thread regarding Macy's Inc. layoffs

Asset Protection question

My question is ..

My captain of AP thinks im up to no good..
here's the story... I do not drink coffee. but during credit contest I would win dunkin donut coffee cards.. I don't like anything from D&D . so My friend who was fired for discounting worked at Lord N Taylor before it closed.. I used to bring here the coffee cards and give it to her cause she loved Dunkin. little did i know the AP at lord talks to Macys. so they thought I was doing something dirty.. I even had a talk about it with head of security.. He asked me why I still talk to her and why I go in to Lord and Taylor.
My answer was I go in there to see How their doing and say Hi to my former coworker. Nothing else.. it seemed they was reaching for straws on this one but My question is..
if i leave Macys and walk into Mall and visit other shops isn't that off the Map for AP to be watching me all around the mall? isn't that against the guide lines? its not differ than running off the curb to get a crook in the parking lot.. its clearly a policy Violation. its like your stalking me threw the entire Mall and everywhere I go just because "You think I'm doing something" I then spoke to Cooperate about it and Head of Security there said to me they will look into it.. and they followed up with if they do this again let me know. The Op/ap at the time danced around it and said He had a " good relationship with me" which he had none.. what is the real Policy of this?
Talk about following around and Harrashment..

I doubt Macys AP followed you, it was more likely L&T, and then talked with Macys AP. Talk with your store manager. Make a coporate complaint @ L&T. If like Macys, those go right to the store manager and they will need to reply back with their result. AP is not allowed to share information outside the company.

Sounds like you’re being stalked, I would file a police complaint ASAP and go from there. There’s a difference between doing surveillance and straight up stalking someone.

Report it. Fu----g creep has no business following you when you are not working/off the clock. If HR won't get involved, call the local media.

Bottom line, it's none of their G-D business who you talk to on your own time.

so my point is its a fire-able offense if you called cooperate and told them they watch you in the mall and every store you go into

Once you earn the prize, it's yours to do with as you see fit. But I also echo the poster right below me who asked why you are sharing them with her in such a way as this? Yes, your time away from work is your time, but the AP people across these retailers in your mall all talk with each other. I would be less public with your friend so it doesn't bite you later. Right or wrong, it is what it is, and you've heard the old saying, birds of a feather....

Why would you give it to her at this place and time? Like give it to her outside of work. When you both finish or when you meet up outside. And no, AP cannot track you once you leave Macy’s.
