"DST DOES NOT LIKE YOU". I know it hurts, its insulting, but DST has never shown respect or caring toward its staff. DST has known since the 1980's that its staff was underpaid compared to employees doing the very same job just a few miles away. DST doesnt care how hard you work, or if you do very smart things to streamline processes. They have picked their favored "golden boys" from family friends, university affiliations, etc. Your a OUTSIDER and basically DST DOESNT LIKE YOU. If you get layed off they could care less abut the emotional or financial stress it causes you. The only loss to DST is there is one less person to criticize and blame problems on. They must find someone else to blame if you leave.

After Reid Davison left, it was all downhill. He was the innovator that kept them afloat.
DST acts like a spoiled 5 year old that never gets enough stuff and is always very unhappy with his parents who are 100% supporting him. But employees are also to blame. They accept and approve of the treatment. I saw a youtube video a few years back of DST staff doing some congo like dance in the middle of a meeting to honor the meetings speaker who was a senior VP. Yes they were dancing in a long line and singing, singing his praises. Now he is retired with millions and they are cut? Their grovelling was a pitiful example of accepting bad treatment. This is 2021 - not 1721 when you were betrothed to a job and it was your whole life. I tired to find that video and it seems its been taken down. Grovellers get nothing!
DST is like many other companies "its us against our employees, but please be a team player and work long hours with no incentives".
Well my Uncle worked for a company with attitude unlike DST, doing simple Cobol programming and got millions in stock options which he actually exercised and turned into over 5 million dollars. Doing the same Cobol job I did at DST. Don't I feel stupid. But maybe in the future I will find a deal like him. DST was a time waster.
So isn’t dst gone? There are some legacy bozos around, but most of the leadership is now SSC, etc. SSC has the same mental view of staff though, too bad that survived.
