Half my team, including myself, were notified last week of the reduction in force (RIF) at Broadcom. The 3 of us are Oregon remote employees; our last day is this Friday. I'm trying to figure out how many other Oregon folks were hit by the latest RIF, because by law, they would be required to give us 60 days notice if 50 or more employees were impacted. Post here and let me know if you were affected. I will blow the whistle and get us all the well deserved notice and paid time/salary for the full 60 days. Plus we'll get the next round of RSU vested for September 15th, if you help me blow the whistle on this sh---y company.
