Many say it’s bad, the T’s are always complaining. Nothing with change here GE is a great company and has been for over 100 years. GE brings good things to life. GE brought in the T rate scale and brought all the T’s from making $10hr up to $60k-$80k a year. While the D’s are making $80-$150k a year. The T’s ego’s jumped up a couple of steps. Now they seem like it’s all gloom and doom because most of them are getting kicked out the door again. This layoff will be a nice sized one and the T’s will be back to making $12hr-$15hr. Let’s see them complain now while they are making my sandwich or coffee. If (and that’s a big IF) there is a call back I wonder how many will return to get laid off again? So answer me your fellow D Rate this one question. Why do the T’s cry and complain so much? We use to all pay the same dues. The T’s ruined this place!

As in all union shops, seniority prevails! Last one in, first one out, regardless of work ethic, plain and simple. Either accept it or find other employment.
If your just tuning into 301/GE life, the hall does what ever the he-l it wants, and if you actually question them, your treated like a dirty mob member. Thats all they know. Protect and prop up the scumbags, and strike down those that have the slightest work ethic!!!
How can the union give something up out of the “contract”. How can the minion give up something with out a vote among the minion members?
No layoffs for six months. What did the union give up to get this agreement? The company didn’t give this to the union out of the kindness of their hearts.
You didnt get the memo yesterday? Signed letter yesterday, no layoffs for 6 months. If only our union could communicate!
GE is much more than so called T/D rates, a miniscule portion of employee population.
