Did the union agree with the company to put cameras at all work station? Is the union going to say it’s for our safety?

Our dues working hard to keep American jobs safe in Schenectady. They are going to record the processes and ship the jobs and equipment over seas. Union dues paid off on this one

I would guess HR would watch the camera to justify written discipline.
So who's on the other end watching the TV screen??
And watch the young ladies as they work? Cool!
The T’s would say yes in a vote because they know they can not make what they make here. Yes vote to save my T rate job. Watch and see how many get fired after the cameras are installed. The onion if agreed to this will be fighting for a lot more jobs. Pictures and cameras on an arbitrators desk would hold a lot of weight. Good luck T rates the ship is about to go under.
I’d rather get laid off than be watched like that. If this is true to save a 130 t rate jobs than this should be voted on! How many will stay? People will walk out the door. The little experience that is left will walk.
Ha ha ha . The cameras at work stations is a way for the company to cut managers out of the picture. There will be a cell leader and production manager and 1 ops leader. They will be sitting at a control station watching each and every person micro managing How the t rates really ruined this place! The union said they would never allow it. Well that must be the deal to save a bunch of T rates jobs for the union to agree on something again not voted on.
I guess we should get cameras on the entrance to the hall, in the meeting room and each office. For the Unions saftey, we should all get member log-ins to watch to make sure there is no weapons brought in, no dr-gs or alcohol smuggled in, no physical altercations, no tomfoolery going on. In the interest of saftey of our dues paying membership, our space and officers and members should be safe and protected! I guess that would also mean the criminals would no longer get to hang at the hall, the addicts could no longer party at the hall, and no union members could be physically or verbally assaulted anymore. In the interest of saftey it all makes perfect sense.
