Heard of some layoffs in Europe and know there are others coming here. Anyone willing to let us know what those packages may entail?

If last year was the year of the people, and you take into consideration what has happened to "people", then what will happen to the planet, who is the topic of this year??
Wait for the next big wave in Europe.... Not that so many knowledgable people _have_ gone, many _will_ go and complete factories will get closed.
Europe has been hit hard. So many knowledgeable loyal people now gone. Company should be ashamed. A disgrace! why customers want to trade with this unethical company is beyond me.
This year has been insane and it's only getting worse. Not enough workers and now they can't get anyone to work for them because of the way they do people this place is going down and I'm about to leave myself put in my two weeks, too many other options available to work at other than a careless, unloyal, unfeeling, uncaring, and unethical place as Emerson has become.
Did I miss VSPs by two weeks!

The VSPs being offered on top of so many people leaving is not a good sign. Cranky old folks leaving won’t save this company. They have tried it for the last 10 years. I need to get out before only one left.
Yep exactly, and then a new year with a ridiculous slogan and expectations higher than can be achieved! We all know the definition of insanity, but yet here we are with not enough support, can’t make deliveries and poor product quality. But yet, let’s increase your sales quota by 15% so you won’t make any bonus, which will cause a reset year. Same cycle, same result but hey, let’s continue to do the same exact thing!
