She's just doing what she is told to do by RDS board. Would be surprised to see her go. Her CV sports heavy Dutch connections. Fortunately for her since she has no long term investment in Shell she can preside over shrinking the company and shedding long term employees without remorse.
She's an empty suit and she checks all the boxes.
yep. she did the same at Maersk.
This is what she was brought here to do; Divest Shell’s shales position. Career hatchet woman. No worries, she’ll soon be off to another company to do just the same. Albeit with a pile of money from uncle Ben in thanks for all her good deeds.
Her role is to come in, layoff staff, sell. That's it. Once this deal and resulting lay offs are complete, she will go to another company to do the same.
Will be interesting to see if BvB lets Gretchen represent Shell next month when Congressional Democrats are going to grill the heads of the "4 Major Oil Companies" next month on how they tried to hide Climate Change evidence from the public.
if you ain't woke, youll be broke is the new shell motto
Most likely she is already looking to become CEO for another company. She will leave with her package.
