looks like gom production will be shut for rest of the year. what a cluster ….
makes the speculated impending permian divestment all the more ridiculous. flow assurance anyone ? diversification ? strategic failures all around. why are we in a position where a single transfer station shuts in so much production in the first place ? this is not the first hurricane to hit this part of the world and wont be the last ….

Flow assurance is the main reason for the shut in. We can’t afford leak now from the political pressure. It seems like most field will be back online soon, except Mars
hope for shell that the current competition for natural gas in europe and asia will fill that cashflow void ….. prices in europe are through the roof …. they are starting coal generators back up in uk ….. too much energy transition too fast ?
