Any news on the future of the Neighborhood stores? Will the rest close in January?

Looked at 2 articles and one of them said by end of 2022, the other said final announcements by beginning of 2023 so we will see. I agree with the latest post, any stores performing well I wish they would remove from the list. One of the Supervisors in an NJ store told me she thought they were no longer on the list, but I'm not convinced until I see for myself.

Not all Neighborhood stores will close in Jan… but some will. Some of the strong performing doors should be removed from the Neighborhood list for the better!

In NJ, Brunswick Square and Livingston are the two I believe. Those are due to multiple Macys within a location. Unless something changes, I believe these upcoming holidays will be the last for all of the neighborhood stores since 2022 is the 3rd year of Macy's 3-year plan to close 125 neighborhood stores as part of its Polaris Strategy.

If anyone has an update, please share. Being in NJ very curious as I believe there are 2 stores on the Neighborhood list here. These are more like E or F level malls, not C. I cover one of the sites, and pretty sure this coming Jan/Feb will be it, would be surprised if not. Store is making their plan and has merchandise but losing Colleauges to other sites.
