Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

Schenectady is one day closer to job cuts.

Your humor will carry you to your next unskilled job. The hourly pension will not be frozen next contract. There will no need for that seeing how so many T Rates are going to loose their unskilled job in a couple weeks. Thank the t rates for their unskilled service and for paying into the union all these years.

60-65 v rips well must mean a big layoff coming. If your lucky you will get 15-20 v rips. So roughly 80 wine arses called the T’s out the door.

60 VRIP’s, 65 VRIP’s….. fake news, so it doesn’t matter. Layoffs right around the corner.
Merry Christmas.

No layoffs for now ,65 vrips by end of year according to someone who knows more than you and if you don't think they aren't going after our pension you're delusional.

I personally want to thank all the t rates that are left for all the scrap and waist they produced the past couple of years. The quality has really taken a dive the past 5-6 years once they started to let all the experienced engineers go. Thank You to all the Unskilled T’s you ruined the Schenectady Legacy in the matter of 10 years.

I’m glad you did too but you should of waited until it shot up to $100 a share. That’s when I sold mine! I can retire at anytime. Yes this union is nothing it once was the company played a good hand bringing in the t rates and we the union fell for it. It was a good run here in Schenectady it will linger on for a couple more years then they will close up shop after job cuts over the next couple years. Stick a fork in it we are well done here.

It's so nice to see unity in the union (sic). You complain about problems with GE management, but 301 members are even more disfunctional. The union will be the downfall of GE in Schenectady. It is no wonder that work is being sent elsewhere and overseas. I'm glad I sold my thousands of shares of GE years ago.
