Boeing Starliner is still on the ground.
Boeing can't get it up.
Meanwhile SpaceX has just returned to Earth 4 civilian astronauts.

@nna+ cmon. really? You're playing fast and loose with reality there. Boeing is in the top 3 always. I know for a fact in 2017 they won over 23Billion. And they win several billion dollar contracts all the time. Not to mention ongoing things, jo--t projects, etc...
I don't count on a Saviour to come into Boeing to save the day. Personally I hope to get another five years in where I can finally retire and never look back at anything regarding Boeing. Just going to do my job and hope management or hr don't put a layoff target on my back.
Boeing has not won a major Military or Space contract in over 30 years.
As far as the space contacts Boeing currently has, All Boeing has to show for it, is that they over charge the Government which is really the Tax Payers and Boeing delivers very little or claims tech issues and wants more money,
My Boeing Manager had pressured me to go with him on a recruiting trip to my College Alumni. Several other Boeing managers were going too because they were desperate to hire Engineers. The managers set a aggressive goal to make 20 job offers on the sport to graduating Seniors. I suggested to my manager to consider looking at the seasoned layed-off Boeing engineers to call back, Boeing manager got peeved I suggested this, I think he did becuase he is a young guy and does not want to hire engineers over the age of 40, which I am over that age myself. Manager said he was going on the recruiting trip an wanted me to go. I told him No I would not go and added I could not in good coscience talk to young graduating engineers about joining Boeing. My manager was pretty upset after I stated this and dropped some F-bo--s my way and threatened to rate me low on my year end Preformance Review close-out. I later heard from co-workers manager asked several others to attend a recruiting trip with him to their college alumni. Most told manager No they were not interested in going on a recruiting trip with him. Manager went on recruiting trip with only the other managers. Don't know the outcome since manager has not said anything about it to group.
So I'm now actively looking for a outside job to leave Boeing. I have yet to decide where to look or send out any resumes. If anyone knows the current market for senior engineers plese let me know.
Elon Musk has so much money, he could buy Boeing Commercial Airplanes as another business in his conglomerate.
They have beat Boeing on every level and there just getting started
