Rumors are starting again about possible layoffs before the end of the month. I'd like to avoid worrying if I can, so if somebody here knows if there is any truth to this, please share. I don't want to start stressing over somebody's overactive imagination - but I also don't want to be caught off guard in case this is based on something concrete.

We lost one this morning.
It is October and so far, I have not heard of any layoffs in HS.
Our department lost one this afternoon.
Wondering if you (or anyone) has found out if this rumor is true? Are they having layoffs this week?
Yeah it's likely for HS.
How can they have another layoff when everyone is quiting? Good god there's not going to be anyone left in year! And they're not hiring to fill the open jobs they have. Expect to see customer outflow accelerate!
