Seasonal Bring a Friend? I just saw a ad for a job at Macys for seasonal work and bring a friend.. My take is by xmas you wont have any more friends. and they must be getting desperate

If you bring a friend, they might become your ex-friend really quick after working for Macy's. Maybe not if you work in Bloomingdales or Fulfillment DC, depending on the job.
Bring a friend, bring a family member, heck bring in a street person or your dog. We have so many open jobs in Sacramento that we are being asked to make postings to our social media accounts, offering $500 for referrals, and asking every customer if they want a job, but nobody wants to work for our low hourly rates. Why work here and be expected to run a register, clean up and put back returns, clean out fitting rooms, sell credit cards, convince people to become clients, and ask for donations. You can get a job at McDonalds for two bucks more an hour and not have to do half the work and schedule options are better too.
Not trolling just stating a fact.. I know all places are having this issue.. its only funny when its Macys cause of how badly they treat their employees. Plus they let go everyone who was reliable and gave a cr-p . now Macys lie in the bed you made!
You obviously don't work for Macy's and must live in a cave. ALL employers are having trouble hiring right now. It's not desperate, it's creative. BTW - Marshall Field's is NEVER coming back, troll!!!!!!
