Thread regarding Enbridge Inc. layoffs

Is safety, integrity and respect important to Enbridge ELT - my answer is NO

If safety was top priority

  • Work from home would be a continued option during the pandemic, not coercion into either vaccine, test or termination.
  • Safety statistics would not be on the scorecard, as that is sending conflicting information. Someone reports an incident, the raise and bonus is less. If not reported, a lifesaving violation with potential termination.
  • Employees would be treated with respect and integrity and not having their job threatened, do as we say or we fire you.

Anyone else have examples they would like to share?

Then get vaccinated. Whats the big deal? History repeats itself. Polio vacs were protested the same way by crowds of disbelievers and conspiracy theorists who had no sympathy or thought about the victims. Stupidity, ignorance and narcissism. Here we go again.

Enbridge, in their typical passive aggressive way, takes their usual stance…Choosing to not be vaccinated, means choosing to not work for Enbridge! They deflect any responsibility by shoving it squarely onto the very people that built them…Spineless!

People who give up their freedom for temporary safety deserve neither. It’s sad that so many are excited to be dictated to by a dim witted tyrant.

Wake up and read the news. Every large organization in North America is doing this. Education sector, healthcare, transportation, banks, you name it. In the US, every employer with over 100 employees will need to do the same thing. Unvaccinated id--ts at our company are just lucky that we are providing paid time off to get tested. My only criticism is that it should have come sooner. Legally, safety trumps privacy in basically every place we operate. If you don’t like it, please go work elsewhere.
