They will sell low. Remember this is the company that spent B-B-Billions on one dry ho-e in Alaska. But... all the employees... well, their payroll is reducing the divided! For shame!

Last few sales have been less than purchase price. They bought it for 5 billion. So about that +/- 2 billion

It’s not something we have control over lol! This is just one stop in a hopefully long career in O&G. Go work in the service side and get your hands dirty, the pay will still be better than most industries. Just have an end goal in mind financially so the new work life balance makes sense.

Deepwater is laying off people involuntarily after Reshape so I don't see where they would find space for unconventional refugees. Lots of smaller operators are hiring for shales right now.

Talking to deep water folks, not a whole lot of room to move over there… Hopefully things get better over there for transfer… Or maybe take on international assignments

i am sure they will get too low a price for it. shell is famous for buying high and selling low …. since business development folks get rewarded for doing a deal period ….. not doing a good deal …… a bit like selling their appalachia asset at a really low price. what is the natural gas price currently ? better build some more windmills with all those hurricanes they must be thinking …..
