All of these posts regarding BOD its employees and management are simply an underscore as to why the plant is closing. It existed so long as to become institutionalised and all about individuals and personalities rather than achieving any kind of sustainable quality product. BOD ki---d itself and you have nobody to blame but yourselves, it's a prime example of a lazy greedy, entitled badly managed workforce. Minimum for maximum culture, do nothing all week and come in Saturday and Sunday to still do nothing. It deserves to die .

I'm so glad that after constructing this original post that everyone thus far is in agreement. I solute those who have posted their comments in agreement and wish you all the best. It's cathartic to know that others have seen and experienced the absolute worst of OFE culture. Don't ever be fooled by company propaganda, sound bytes and photo ops, it's all lies.
I gave my notice last month. My supervisor whom never had anything nice to say and always overly criticized everything asked why.

My boss was intimidated by the most insignificant subjects. He never told the truth and routinely lied about stuff that didn’t matter, every day none sense.
He even told us that he’s was an OMLP, but he’s not. I can’t comprehend what kind of person that is habitually dishonest. I could have never believed this until I experienced it for myself. Even worse, this is so bad it’s, entirely unbelievable. This guy doesn’t fit in society.

I do agree, but the bigger picture is that this behavior that has become the DNA of OFE starts with the leadership and I’m not saying the site management. I’m referring to VPs that leverage outcomes for selfish monetary gain. I’m talking about Sourcing leadership making deals to outsource work rather than leverage the in house manufacturing ability. I’m referring to the fact that this division still employs VPs that at one time prior to being VP, we’re held to almost zero accountability and produced next to nothing, single digit OTD, fake revreqing. A bunch of horse sh-t is what’s between the real workers and the CEO.
This company has done nothing but hand out promotions to entitled, fake results, cry baby noise makers, that self fabricate their own situation, for empathy.
With this culture, its to be expected!

Do nothing all week ?? Ive worked at bod 27years think you will find its the opposite,, was good when I first started,, now your expected to do everything.. no support no thanks no payrise nothing more and more expected of the shop floor year on year,, morale went down hill past 6years.. now I Suppose whom ever takes on our workload will be just grateful of the opportunity lmao good luck to them.. as for working weekends some of the lads without shift allowance are better off stacking shelves… lazy greedy entitled GFY !!!
