Thread regarding Enbridge Inc. layoffs

Hypothetically speaking,

I don't think a lot of people will quit if they make vaccination mandatory. What do you think?

Rocco Galati's view is only an Opinion right now. The courts will decide. People don;t understand that. You can have all the opinions in the world. But only a court or Human Rights Tribunal can decide.

Brave is the first person who quits and takes it this way

Simply put as this expands you are going to run out of places to work. All employers are watching these policies role out and most will wait as they work their way through the courts. If they win, and no one can predict at this point no matter who you are or what law firm you work for (all you can do is give opinions ) and the courts rule they can, then everone will put them in place.

You are going to run out of places to work and if it does become legal, then it will be with cause. So no severence and no unemployment insurance.

Good luck

Wake up and read the news. Every large organization in North America is doing this. Education sector, healthcare, transportation, banks, you name it. In the US, every employer with over 100 employees will need to do the same thing. Unvaccinated id--ts at our company are just lucky that we are providing paid time off to get tested. My only criticism is that it should have come sooner. Legally, safety trumps privacy in basically every place we operate. If you don’t like it, please go work elsewhere.

Okay, I'll bite. What "constitutional right" is being violated?

Go on. I can wait.

Constitutional lawyer Rocco Galati has advised that the Supreme Court of Canada has already ruled that any medical treatment, including vaccination, without the informed consent of the individual, is unconstitutional. Galati also states:
• If your employment is already underway, it is illegal for an employer to impose a new condition not included in the employment contract.
• If your employer terminates your employment as a result of your decision to refuse this experimental medical treatment, they could be liable for wrongful dismissal or other contract violations.
• If you sign an employment contract whereby you agree to be vaccinated with the COVID vaccine as a condition of employment, the employer may have the legal right to dismiss you without compensation.
• It is the view of the Constitutional Rights Centre that mandatory vaccination in all employment contexts is illegal, unconstitutional, and unenforceable.
• If your employment, enrollment, or service is illegally terminated because of your unwillingness to accept the experimental injection you are advised to sue for wrongful dismissal or violation of contract.
“We have to stop thinking about getting an exemption to having our constitutional rights violated. We have the constitutional right to refuse a vaccine. Those trying to coerce and mandate the vaccine are violating that common law, statutory, and constitutional right. Why seek an ‘exemption’ FROM THE VIOLATORS? Makes no sense.” – Rocco Galati, Constitutional Lawyer

Make them fire you don't quit. Infringement of constitutional rights and wrongful dismissal

Society has spoken and patience has run out for the unvaccinated.
People could quit, but it’s not like they’ll be able to cross the street to another oil and gas company; they’ll all be following suit.

Those who are skeptical of the vaccine don't have a lot of other places to go. My 0.02.
