Those who have been here for years have it the worst. Terrible moves, illogical decisions, disregard for employees, worsening of working conditions, etc. This has been a ridiculos place for a long time.
Why is this company more concerned with secondary issues than crucial challenges for its future? That’s my impression - they’re dealing with the least important things instead of tackling the big problems here.

Your remarks are on point. Bad management from top to bottom. Growth model is overuse existing resources. Physical plants lack maintenance as billions go to buying back stock. Inventory maintenance systems have cracked or, in some areas, broken completely. With a real workers revolution in full swing, Lowe’s acts as though workers are unlimited and, fed enough rah rah and pizza, can meet supercharged workloads and unrealistic expectations. Turnover is - what? - over 200%? They somehow manage to always find another worker to fire. New HD Corporate heads love knowing that field mgrs would rather confront the Frankenstein Monster, Sasquatch, Dracula, and Satan himself than to see them darken the front door. And the poor Supes - they live in terminal fear for their jobs, so they initiate countless changes and tweaks that actually, if anything, diminish performance. So for your CSAs, it’s death by a thousand cuts, 48,625 things to keep track of and everyone of them is eminently important. It’s a recipe for burnout. No need to prioritize tasks because, no matter how tedious or pointless, they are all super important.
Anyone pre-Marv, Small Hands, and Billy Sears working at Lowes is an id--t who knows nothing about retail. Never mind we built Lowes to what it is, crushing Sears along the way. We're all id--ts and they are the Mavens of Retail who can do no wrong.
Besides Marv what is the big poroblem?
