Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

_a lot of red flags in my case

The manager is behaving strangely and I have noticed that he is more nervous than ever. I’ve never been less busy. I have nothing else to assume except that I will be on the layoff list soon.

I hope i'm just anxious but i'm preparing for bad news. I wonder what were the experiences of those who were axed earlier, did you notice some similar red flags before you were told about it?

I'm so scared. I've seen my boss is been talking to people lately too. I don't know what's going to happen next. I obviously don't have any marketable skills that's why I'm a local 301 member. Where am I going to find a job once my boss lays me off next month?

Your paranoid. Continue to do your best, or seek a new job.

If your manager or any coworker close to your manager stops making eye contact with you, watch out. Your head already has a date with the chopping block. Go ahead and find a job while you have employment. Once you are unemployed you lost your bargaining chip.

LOL if you noticed your manager were busy talking with some folks, then you are in trouble.
