I am not sure I agree with being penalized on my health insurance as a remote worker if I am not vaccinated…

You can tell the trolls responses from the actual employees.... or maybe the trolls were fired because they were lazy and underperformed. Good riddance as you made the job of successful employees much harder.
Regarding the vaccine, mandate is a risk for the company, on both sides of the decision. No wonder they have all the new employees coming in at a rapid pace. They will lose the wisdom that comes with tenure. They will also lose out on claims payment s and future audits. Decisions.

You can find a new job if you don't like the requirements of the one you have now. Nobody has a g_n to your head.
It's because people lile you tend to cost the company more in health insurance when they get COVID. You work for Progressive - you should understand that you are making yourself a higher 'risk'.
Interesting perspective; but don't forget that Progressive self underwrites health insurance for their staff. I'd assume they have evaluated the risk cost benefit, in same way they do actuarial for the core business. Stats may show that overall healthcare costs are reduced for those that are vaccinated. So personal choice aside, this may make up the difference economically. Not saying I agree or disagree mind you, but this seems like focus is the political, instead of the economical.
I am hoping our diversity atmosphere will fight this. Not very diverse to discriminate against those who do not see it the same way as everyone else. I thought our company valued different perspectives. Truth is I can find doctors for support on both sides. Crazy in the world discounts the half that is against the democrats left agenda. However, companies are greedy and if they can save money on every Healthcare policy, it hits their bottomline. This is truly a greed move. Let's be honest. I hope they fight the vaccine mandate. Let's see if this company truly values diversity or just gives lip service to certain groups.
