Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Typical Scummy Ford Behavior

Par for the course and just another example of behavior described on this board. Took an anonymous tip, inspectors note Ford did not turn themselves in. Yeah right....."we turned off the pipe and thought everything was contained".....suuuuurrreeee.

In all likelyhood one of the employees at the plant who wasn’t comfortable with let’s hide it because it is contained on our property was the tipster.
One of my uncles worked at a Ford plant. There were managers who would cut corners with hazardous waste disposal to save time/money. They had a crew just dump liquids in the back of the Ford plant property, of course it was going to seep into the ground water that we then drink. He anonymously reported the actions to government and Ford tip lines. There was no visible repercussions to the manager directing the activities. This was many years ago. It sounds like the plant culture hasn’t changed much.

Ok, I've read up on this predicament and I have a partial solution, just hear me out. Powertrain underbody management, test vehicle coordinators, and HR: I'm looking at you because you know exactly who I'm talking about.
We have a guy that takes a company m plate vehicle every single day, sometimes signed out by the book and sometimes sneaky cheating, but regardless, he is driving it everyday and late into the night to run his personal business and enjoy his leisure time. Not really doing company business,, he says he is but he's just an excellent bs-er. And to boot, it's one of out gas guzzler vehicles he prefers.

Now, what's the point? Ha! Well, instead of him using up the company gas at the usual pump stations, how about you restrict him to only use the gas that is stored at flat rock! Easy!

Just think of how much less fuel ends up in the Michigan sewage system and in the community's homes, and instead will provide transportation for a needy employee to have his daily test car driving fix. Win-Win I say!

Didn't Mazda run this place for most of its existence? Let just blame them. Ford has enough vehicle and warranty issues to worry about rather than poisoning the water, sewage, and air quality stuff.

What fools. They just opened the door for some serious lawsuits. Like they don't have enough of them going on already. No wonder they have an army of lawyers on staff.

True leadership and integrity is based on what you do when no one is looking. Ford’s lack of values are clearly on display. Makes you wonder what else management has turned their back on. Easy now to connect the dots on weekly recalls and dismal launches of new products. Won’t ever find one in my garage.

On Monday, Ford said they would close the plant for the week so they could focus efforts on the community. What they meant to say was they had to close the plant because all the connections to the sewer system had to be shut down. Unbelievable dishonesty.
