Natural immunity is better than any vaccine and there are millions and millions of Americans who have contracted and recovered from Covid. So why must ALL be vaccinated?

It IS all about the math. Recently CDC reported that unvaccinated people were roughly 10 times more likely to be hospitalized than vaccinated people. Run some simple numbers.
Compare a country A with 50% vaccination rate with a country B with a higher vaccination rate, say 90%. Say 10% of unvaccinated people become hospitalized vs 1% of vaccinated, following the 10:1 ratio.
For 1000 people, Country A would have 500 vaccinated, 500 unvaccinated, leading to 5 vaccinated and hospitalized, 50 unvaccinated and hospitalized. Over 90% (50/55) of those hospitalized would be unvaccinated. This is what has been reported for the US with its 50% vaccination rate.
For 1000 people, Country B would have 900 vaccinated, 100 unvaccinated --> 9 vaccinated and hospitalized, 10 unvaccinated and hospitalized. Only 53% of those hospitalized would be unvaccinated, and roughly half of those hospitalized would be vaccinated. This is closer to the situation in Israel, with its vaccination rate exceeding 80%.
In the limit, if everyone was vaccinated, everyone hospitalized would have been vaccinated.
So, you see, it is in the math.

Vaccine costs $20-30 per dose. Average cost of hospital stay for Covid patient is $50000. GE can do the math. GE already charges a big surcharge for smokers. Delta Airlines is now charging unvaccinated employees $200/month extra for their health insurance. Surprised that GE hasn't put the hammer down already - for GE money talks.

Im surprised it hasn't been mandated already. Not like the weak @zz IAM union is going to fight for our CHOICE. I took the 1st but im putting off the 2nd. They are already brainwashing the masses on mutations, boosters, etc. Yet the dr-g companies have said that no, they are not 100% effective. There's even a company that right now, is concocting the MOAV. This has 1st dose, 2nd, booster, flu shot, and some other vax we get as kids. And we will still be working with masks on. Not vaxed. I watch as half the shop takes time out for covid over the last year or 2. Many have had the jab. I have taken none off. Just sayin.

We are vaxed, exposed to two unvaxed all day long who became very ill over the next two days. Vaccine worked for us. Just saying…

Like it or not you're either getting vaccinated or lose your job. And it's sad if you choose the latter because of so much disinformation around a safe and effective vaccine.

GE is a federal contractor and therefore all employees will require vaccination with no option for testing, just like federal employees. No exemptions allowed.

The purpose of the vaccine is to greatly reduce the number of hospitalizations of Covid patients, and deaths, and to relieve the heavy burden on our health system. The average cost of a stay is in the hundreds of thousands of dollars and takes up beds needed for other emergencies.

So the people that are for the vaccine, I’m curious, why are you so focused on others getting the vaccine? The shot only protects you. But you can still get COVID and you can still spread COVID. You can still get really sick even if you’ve had the shot and you can still die. The only thing the shot does is potentially make your symptoms milder. That’s it.

Nobody is forcing you to be vaccinated but you will then have to get tested every week at your own expense. Thousands of dollars a year.

The vaccine is safe and effective. Unvaccinated mo--ns are clogging up hospitals then family's putting up gofundme for funeral expenses. There is no reasonable or unselfish reason to not get vaccinated. GE will be better off without you if you're that d-mb.

I will not be taking the vaccine so I guess I will be fired. I have religious and health and other rational reasons to not take it. GE will lose a lot of the best people. There is no good science behind this thing. It's all about control. That should be obvious to any impartial person.

Cowardly that GE didn't do this prior to today's announcement. But at least now the knuckledragging anti-vax employees will either have to be vaccinated or pay for their own tests. Or you can quit and work for yourself and have lots of time screaming into the void hahahaha!
