Frocked has just had contact from source in states. Not looking so good. Frocked previously posted info pertaining to positive news on the package front next week. Frocked can now confirm, absolutely no good news this week or next week unfortunately. Begining to look like status quo will be the position that will be held. Frocked will update if any shift but not looking likely now. Watch this space.
You will get the minimum pay out. People will get asked to stay back and pack up everything. They will get offered an additional bonus. This is how it has worked for all the other companies that have shut. Not a lot of long service can afford to walk away. If offered the retention for staying take it every penny counts in this situation. More you have in your pocket, longer you have to find something else. Best of luck to you all. Been through this. HR/Finance are still building the financial analysis model to determine who is the cheapest to lay off first and the initial focus will be on those people. The cases of longer term staff with potentially higher benefits are currently being reviewed by legal department to see how the company can reduce these payments via legal loopholes, grants from government, council, etc
A lot of money can be saved if this is done the correct way. There is talk of money being set aside to er--t a statue and plaque celebrating and remembering the BoD history. You should all get a mention on this plaque assuming you have done a minimum time in the company.
