Is Raleigh Sears closed yet? I'm only asking because the job listing has been pulled, so I think it might have ended. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the first occasion in several Years where zero Sears or Kmarts are currently liquidating? In the past, it seemed that when one closing list ran out, it was promptly replaced with a new one, but that doesn't seem to have happened yet, here.

@2zjo+1cIEhTZh Thank you for that. So in 1 Month, there will be no Sears stores closing (unless some additional closures are announced before October 10). That is extremely odd, to have none closing.
https://www.wral.com/sears-at-triangle-town-center-closing-in-october-markdowns-have-begun/19851276/ This says 10/10/2021 for closing date
The job was there when I posted it. It isn't anymore. Probably it was filled.
@1ris+1cIEhTZh Um, did you try clicking on your own link before posting it? There is no job associated with the link you posted. It must be an old link:
https://jobs.sears.com/en-US/job/temp-backroom-associate-11-hr-up-to-40hrs-wk-store-closing-raleigh/J3T0J16NFKPF0TYQVJY
^ That link leads to nothing. Try it. There are no closing jobs that I could find, for Raleigh Sears.
Moreover, when I go to Sears' site, and filter jobs to store closing, I get a blank list:
https://jobs.sears.com/en-US/search?keywords=%22store%20closing%22&location=
@1gis+1cIEhTZh I think you're right on.
Raleigh has a newly listed store closing job:
https://jobs.sears.com/en-US/job/temp-backroom-associate-11-hr-up-to-40hrs-wk-store-closing-raleigh/J3T0J16NFKPF0TYQVJY
The Raleigh liquidation is still listed at https://www.sb360.com/select-projects/events/ .
Perhaps the store filled the jobs needed for liquidation and that's why they are no longer listed on the jobs board?
With only a handful of stores left in the entire country they're running out of places to close! Not sure what's taking so long to wrap things up. Many of the stores that are left are not in prime locations, and all of them are completely understocked and poorly maintained. Must be some reason to keep a few stores open so they can legally claim that they are still in business. If I were Mr. L, I think I'd want to get the whole farce over with and out of the public eye........it's only dragging the embarrassment out longer.
I think there might have been a brief period during the pandemic in 2020 when there were none closing? I could be wrong about that, though, I don't remember. But they were coming pretty steadily in late 2020-now, but ya, seems to have stopped at least temporarily. Maybe more in 2022, we'll see.
Ya, I'm not sure exactly when Raleigh closed, but if they just pulled those job listings now, that sounds about right, since it has been closing for quite a while now. Ya, odd to see no stores currently closing. Can't remember when I last saw that either.
