Does Qualcomm IT track job searching from company laptop? Will this be reported to my VP if I looked for a job at Apple or Google or Mediatek?

All of these responses are plain wrong. No company has the ability or even resources to care about what you are doing UNLESS it is against policy - like looking at stuff (you know what I mean). I've used my company computer to find multiple new jobs over the years and never ever heard a peep. No one cares. And if it's really that micromanaged then get out immediately.
Here's a good way to find out. Spend a few days using your company laptop to search for some good ahem unusual po-n. If you don't hear anything from your manager, then you're good to go!
