Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

New site probability???

Here is where I think could be in the running. It assumes a non existing location and plenty of water (non southwest with one exception).

1) Upstate NY
2) Raleigh
3) Nashville
4) Atlanta
5) Charlotte
6) Louisville/ Cincinnati
7) Austin

With Mega fab, INTC can build a city in a desert and Intel fab closer to Colorado River
Intel can also build its own casino, university, crypto coins mining and work closely with gov secret project in the same area

If water is a primary consideration, The Dalles, OR is right next to the Columbia river. Only real downside is the prevalence of smoke during the summer months; relatively new phenomenon.

Not a bad list, but I disagree about the SW not having water. People who say that must never have lived here, we have tons of the stuff. Except Cali, but you know, Cali.
