Really curious what will happen with CTAs. They seem to have quit replacing them.

With more automation and technology on the way, HR and talent acquisition are going to be greatly affected. These are non-revenue-producing positions that will continue to downsize in the years to come.
I predict SSA's will be the new HR in stores (they do it already) as well as take over any sourcing/prescreening duties CTA Specialist already do. Lowe's will eliminate Area HR's and the TAPS will be rightsized greatly as well as they add new technology.
SSA's are the cheapest route for Lowe's - just follow the money
Other than post openings on social media from their smart phones and phone screen applicants from the comfort of their home, what does a talent acquisition specialist really do? Put these tasks on the SSA’s and area/regional HR people. This is a total waste of payroll dollars that could be better spent adding desperately needed staffing in the stores.
I predict that the talent acquisition specialist positions are going to be phased out. SSA’s will be renamed and replaced a by a new store HR generalist position that will take on the TAS responsibilities. Similar to how delivery dept mgr was phased out and delivery coordinators were then created. In-store they can be held more accountable for results and intertwined with other traditional, HR duties.
I heard there was a whole lot of the CTA Specialist quitting. Those are the ones that recruit for hourly roles.
Wait - what? When is this happening?
Like trying to find and recruit people to come prison .It's sad when Walmart treats is workers better than Lowe's .
There's no one who wants to come work here. It's people leaving in droves
Who is going to find people to hire?
