WTH? They are leaving us in limbo telling us to arrange childcare, etc. and that basically we have to be ready to go into the office beginning October 4th at the drop of a hat. Yet our supposed "competitors" (Google, Apple) are at least upfront with their employees and announced a delay in the return to January 2022. That was just this week.
Why is Shell leaving us in limbo like this while our competitors are being upfront with their employees? Even Chevron have gone to their "Phase 3" which essentially means they know they won't return until 2022.
