Difficulty finding a new job

How is your job search going? Looking for a job has never been harder for me. I was a lot more successful looking for my previous jobs. I’m not despairing yet though I really hoped to find a new job much faster. It's been a few months now and I still haven't received an acceptable offer.

Try licking up like TB does to YK in a desperate attempt to ingratiate himself further and get a job as a wrecking ball... it is sickening. "Congratulations Yvette!! Definitely world class technologist and innovator as John articulates - more importantly the best mentor and friend for lifetime".

Stay positive. I had started my job search at the end of January 2020. 5 weeks later Covid became a global pandemic and the job market disappeared. I felt trapped in Synamedia. It took 6 months before the job market showed any life and another 2 before I had an offer. Stay persistent, keep learning (skill stacking), and your time will come.

I recommend the book Business Model You.

Good Luck

Don't despair just keep trying. Persistence knows no failure. The right job is out there. There are tons of resources available online for writing and updating resumes, etc.

After a couple of years it gets easier, I mean you get used to the situation and develop better copping mechanisms. Just give it time.
