Does anyone know if the company checks for the relative number of conservatives and liberals in a lay-off. Liberals at Oxy Texas locations probably stick out like sore thumbs compared to Conservatives.

What the he-l kind of post is this?!
Wow OP. Maybe you’d like them to do a DNA test as well?
Make it simple. Those vaccinated work from home, and send the unvaccinated to the office and see how that works out. If a person can get the FDA approved vaccine then it should be no different than getting the flu shot. WFH is fine with me if I can avoid being around others who do not want to get vaccinated. I understand and respect that, but people need to respect me not wanting to be in a place where there is a higher chance of Covid being spread. When I was in the office back in June people were walking the halls without masks and in the common areas as well. Not knowing who is vaccinated makes it a crapshoot when in common places. Add in the fact vaccinated people can transmit so why risk it.
OP, no test needed for you, as you are clearly an id--t. Now, knock on VH's door and tell her you are replacing her, and are claerly more qualified than her.
And whether ze zpeak wivv a zertain deutsche accent and have a zpezific muztasch
And they look at the height of an individual, whether they have perfect teeth, the color of their hair, body fat index, whether they wear a tie, whether they have a Hawaiian shirt, whether they wear designer clothes, what type of car they drive (and mpg), do they drink Starbucks coffee drinks, how many minutes a day do they spend in meeting, do they schedule meetings when they could interfere with personal schedules, etc, etc…….and a bunch of other d-mb criteria.
Please don’t insult everyone with your post.
I am an official member of the Green party, and was told years ago that as long as I show up on time and don’t mess up too bad, that I would never lose my job.
What a stupid post.
Yes, Oxy absolutely does.
Like most companies do. And for your information, it's done using absolute numbers not "the relative number" you think.
Layoffs are always decided on the political bent of the employee as declared on the personnel forms completed when hired.
Conservative v Liberal is the acid test - for everything.
Any more stupid questions you'd like answered?
